Our Board of Directors
Isabella
is an 8-year old second grader from Austin, Texas. She is enrolled in the University of Texas String Project and is studying the violin. Isabella is also enrolled in the Stanford University Education Program for Gifted Youth. She enjoys ice skating, horseback riding, tennis, insects, and space. Isabella is a perceptive child with a strong sense of justice and compassion.
Pierson
is nearly 10-years old and is a fourth grade honor student at the University School of Milwaukee, WI. Pierson enjoys sports, especially soccer. His team is ranked best in the region. Along with soccer, Pierson excels at baseball, golf, chess, tennis and swimming. Pierson has always been moved by the poverty and lack of opportunities he has witnessed other children suffer in his travels at various places around the world. He often asked how he could help improve the lives of these children. Becoming a board member for CWFL Initiative is his first step towards making a difference in the world.
Samuel
is 8-years old and attends second grade at Summit Christian Academy in Cedar Park, Texas. Samuel loves most sports and is especially enthusiastic about soccer, skiing and hockey. Samuel is also active in swimming and gymnastics. An avid reader, Samuel’s favorite books are the Harry Potter series. Samuel was born in Ryazan, Russia and is especially interested in helping children and families who live in under developed regions around the world where simple comforts such as clean drinking water are not available.
Alina
is a bright and compassionate 8-year old and enjoys school. Besides excelling in math and reading, Alina loves to play the violin. She is currently enrolled in the University of Texas Strings Project where she has the opportunity to sharpen her skills and mingle with other music enthusiast. Alina believes that children can make a difference in the world by getting involved in a cause that interests them. By being a part of the CWFL organization, Alina wants less fortunate children around the world to feel that someone cares about them and to help give them a better life.
Annette
is 12-years old and is a 6th grader at St. Gabriel’s Catholic School. Annette is an honor student and the Vice President of her school Spanish club. She enjoys volleyball, basketball and soccer. With an independent spirit, her motto is “Mom, I got this!!!” She has a heart as big as the great state of Texas and is proud to be a board member.
Aaron
is a fifth grader at The Lexington School in Lexington, Kentucky. He is both academically and athletically strong. While he now lives in Lexington, his heart is still in Texas. In 2008, he was awarded Resolution from the Texas House of Representatives for being an outstanding Texan and young scholar. This year his sports include Cross Country Track and Basketball. In Cross Country, he has ranked among the top ten athletes in grade 6 and under. Aaron enjoys reading and doing anything physical.
BriAna
is a bright, caring and creative twelve-year old “A honor roll” student in seventh grade. She loves to paint and draw and her artwork has received special recognition by her former art teacher. BriAna has been a Girl Scout for seven years and is currently working towards her Silver Award. Over the years she has volunteered for various community service projects. You can also find BriAna on the basketball court where she serves as a “defensive specialist” for her school’s basketball team. As a member of CWFL, BriAna wants to reach out to less fortunate children all over the world.
